I recently started Purple Circle, a new Australian brand raising awareness and support for epilepsy.

After working in a café as a pastry chef for over 7 years, I had to step away due to seizures from my epilepsy. Rather than give up, I decided to create something positive, a business that helps me earn a little income while giving back to a cause close to my heart.

What is Epilepsy?

Epilepsy is a neurological condition that anyone can develop at any time of life. While it can be genetic, it can also be the result of structural changes to the brain either during its growth or because of illness or injury.

What does Purple Circle mean?

Purple is the international colour for epilepsy awareness, symbolising strength, courage, and hope.

Circle represents community and connection, bringing people together to build awareness and understanding.

My mission is to create a community that brings people together, those living with epilepsy and those who simply want to make a difference. We believe that awareness leads to understanding, and understanding leads to action.

Through our brand, we aim to shine a light on epilepsy, spark conversations, and help support the incredible work being done to improve the lives of those affected. A percentage of every sale goes directly to Epilepsy Queensland, helping provide vital support, services, and research that bring us one step closer to finding a cure.
